FYF FAVORITE TOOLS

Here are some of my (tried & true) favorite things for exploration.

Whether you’re looking for interesting tools that can deepen your explorations, or space-bending ambiance to infuse the places in which you explore, I’ve got you covered.

Maybe you’ve seen some of these things in my IG videos, Live Online Classes, or In-Person Events. Here is a catch-all space where I can share those tools directly with you. Enjoy :), Tracee

FYF Ritual Tools

Ritual Tarot Candles (from the FYF Store)

These candles are potent anchors for the major archetypes (Arcana) in the tarot, the perfect tool to accompany your rituals. Beautiful, high-quality essential oils and botanicals complement the energy, and the warm-not-hot oil can be applied to anoint your skin after your practice.

Essential Oil Blends: Well Being, Self Love, & Meditation

Can be used with your moving & meditation practices. Anoint a drop on your pulse or chakra points, or place a few drops in a diffuser, bath, or shower floor for aromatherapy purposes. Don’t forget to reflect and witness any changes to your breathing, creativity, energetic and emotional state once applied.

Lighting

Aurora Borealis + Stars + Moon Projector Light

Color and flow; my current absolute favorite environment-enhancing groovy light! The best spot for it (IMO) is leaned at an angle on the floor, so the moon floats more in the center of the ceiling. :) You’ll love it, you just will.

Galaxy Light (w/ Blue Stars) Projector Light

There are many many options on Amazon, and it’s hard to know which ones are “good”. This one is. I prefer the blue star lasers, and this is the only one I’ve found. Also, the Galaxy effect is stunning and looks like dancing cosmic dust.

Tarot/Oracle Decks

Archetypes Deck by Kim Krans

If you want to go deeper with oracle cards, this is it. A strong, wise energy anchored in the form of cards. The guidebook will move mountains within you. I use this deck weekly, and love it as a complement to many different types of movement practice. Versatile.

Wild Harmonic Oracle - for Waking Dreamers

I’ve never seen a deck dive so deep into the elements. What is the fire in water? What is the spirit of earth? What is the shadow of air? How about water, in water? This deck will help you master the elemental energies - far beyond what you understand now. It’s an immense creation. Not for beginners.

Alchemy Deck by Kim Krans

I don’t event have it yet (it’s open for pre-order), but I know it’s going to be iconic, stunning, deep. This is the work of Kim Krans we can know and trust. This is going to be The Wild Unknown’s final deck, and you can check out other’s in their collection below — all great.

Weaver’s Oracle by Carolyn Hillyer

I would call this an advanced deck for healers, practitioners, artists, and soul-work folks. The messages aren’t linear, but spiral in metaphor and dimension. The crones in this deck feel alive. This would not be recommended as a first or even tenth deck. But when it’s time, wow.

The Blind Spot Oracle by Teal Swan

This deck is like the stern talking to - gets you right into your shadow. Not for the faint of heart, and it doesn’t waste time softening the landing. Cuts like a knife straight to the core stagnation and misdirection; I love this deck for working with my unconscious.

The Light Seer’s Tarot

One of my favorite modern tarot decks. So much movement and color, easy to read. Also rich with meaning, symbolism, and story. So glad I got in on the creator’s original self-published edition!

Animal Spirit Oracle by Kim Krans

Quintessential oracle, you’ve probably seen it around. If you don’t have it, you might appreciate working with it for yourself! Succinct and layered animal wisdom.

Empathic Oracle

I love this little deck. Great for folks new or on the journey of their “empathic” natures.

Sacred Rebels Oracle

If you are someone out there creating “on your own”, this is a great support. I don’t use this deck anymore, but it was extremely helpful at a time when I was launching intensives and retreats for FYF years ago.

The Moon Deck

I was a crowd-funding early investor in this deck (2015/16), and met the creators at their launch party. It was there that I first got truly plugged into sound baths. I’m grateful for this deck, it’s sweet with the heart of a yogi. Lovely little affirmations.

Osho Zen Tarot

This was one of the first tarot decks I ever got, back in 2015? It resurfaced in my practice this year, and I love it. Regardless of the controversial nature of the inspiration for the deck, the interpretations speak directly to heart and spirit. Particularly love the Comparison card.

Well Being

Arnica Bath & Body Oil

Ooooooo how nice this is when you are taking a bath to soak away soreness. It really works. Naturopathica is also a brand that has some of the best skin care I have ever used (in fact, it’s what I presently use). This oil is added to the bath once it’s already full, a little goes a long way.

19 Lb Bag of Epsom Salts

A must have for those who love the properties of soaking in salts - you can get this large bag delivered monthly. Saves you trips to the store buying small bags you go through in a week or less. Good for aches and pains, energetic or empathic fatigue, nervous system downregulation, and general relaxation.

Caffeine-Free Cacao Tea

I got this tea once in a subscription box, and immediately fell in love. If you love and crave chocolate, but don’t always want the sugar and caffeine stimulation for late night indulging, this tea is a perfect alternative. Boost it with a dash of oak milk, and a couple medicinal cacao disks.

Dry Brush

Do you dry brush? Damn, it really works; exfoliate your skin, increase blood flow, lymphatic drainage. I use it a couple times a week before hoping in a bath, and I find that it has instantaneous affects on my skin brightness, softness, and texture.

Solar Recover

I found this many many years ago, and I think it’s the best product for taking care of your skin when you’ve had too much sun. Apply as soon as you know you might have got a burn going. It’s amazing for minimizing the discomfort and redness of sunburns.

Unbleached Tea Bags

These bags are amazing for loose tea; organic, biodegradable, compostable. I like to pack them on trips when I want to bring my own teas, to steep the goodness wherever I land. If you came to Soul Movement Retreat in 2021, we used these with our custom sound bath-adjacent blend.
